The Faceless King

STORY:
The eldest son of a corrupt ruler, he was cursed by cruel gods in the womb
to punish his father. Killing his mother as he came into the world, he was
born deformed and hideous, only barely resembling anything human.
Unable to bring himself to kill his only son, the king instead banished the
baby with a pair of servants to tend to his needs.
Years later, the boy returns to claim the kingdom of his birth, having grown
monstrous and as cruel as the gods who cursed him, bearing a crown over
a faceless helm to claim what is rightfully his.
